The Sugar Sand Festival is a celebration of sand sculpting, held every year in Clearwater Beach, Florida.  The sculptors compete, while visitors can watch and enjoy other activities during the event.

Since 1998, the festival has run a full seven nights a week. The concept was dreamt by Lisa Chandler, who was a local business owner in Clearwater Beach.

In 2013, Clearwater Beach became the official host of the event.  The amazing Gulf of Mexico sunsets are the perfect backdrop for the Sugar Sand Festival.

The festival a great way to enjoy local places to eat, drink, play and stay, but it also acts as a fundraiser for local education initiatives.
